La Pampa Parties return for 2014!

Malbec with La PampaLa Pampa Grill’s family friendly picnic parties are back for 2014 with a season opener on Saturday, April 26th. We want to welcome spring and introduce local, grass-fed beef (asado al asador) grilled in the traditional Argentine style to all of our friends. We will grill grass-fed beef as the featured item as well as free-range chicken and whatever the farms have in season will also go on the grill. Please remember to bring your own salads as well as drinks (wine, etc). We will provide a “wine reception” for a toast and welcome. We encourage everyone to bring picnic blankets and/or chairs to spread out and enjoy the spring evening.

As a new experience, we’re holding this event in the old barn at the Yellow Springs Country Bed & Breakfast. This tucked-away gem is a gorgeous spot just outside of town. Directions and parking details will be sent in a confirmation email to those who confirm their attend.

Also new this year, we’re working to provide easier payment and reservations for our events. Use the PayPal button below to reserve your spot by buying a ticket(s) directly. Afterwards, La Pampa will be in touch with more of the event details. If you prefer to send a check in the mail instead of using PayPal, please send us an email to let us know so that we can reserve your space. Space is limited for this event. (Note: we removed the PayPal button to limit reservations, contact us for more info for this event).

Sat. April 26th, 5pm-7pm. $18 per adult. Kids 12 and under are free. Kids 12-17 are a donation suggested in the tip jar.

Earth Dinner with La Pampa & The Emporium

Emporium Wines La Pampa PhotoLa Pampa Grill and The Emporium are planning the first Chefs Collaborative Earth Dinner in Yellow Springs this spring. On Sunday, April 27 at 7pm, join us at The Emporium in downtown Yellow Springs.

We will begin with a reception of “tabla de quesos,” a selection of local cheeses from Blue Jacket Dairy paired with two white wines. Kurt will introduce the featured wines from Ohio and Argentina, and afterwards we will invite everyone to the table. Here, we will serve local, grass-fed beef grilled on the spot in a traditional, hardwood, Argentine style by the “parrillero” Mariano. Dinner also includes seasonal greens from Flying Mouse Farms and Patchwork Gardens, along with a selection of red wines. To finish, we will invite guests to an espresso or port wine with petits fours made from scratch with Flying Mouse maple syrup, and discuss the philosophy of sustainable, local gastronomy with an introduction to the local farms featured in the evening’s meal.

Tickets will be on sale at The Emporium starting in the first week of April. Space is limited to 25 people.
